| What can I say, someone has to run the convention. The senior staff are the people who handle the majority of the work behind the scenes and on-site during the convention. They are also responsible for making the decisions that directly impact Total Confusion LLC. Senior staff are always experienced convention goers who have worked at least one year as an associate staff and have worked on-site at one Total Confusion convention. After the one year internship, senior staff members vote to see which, if any, associate staff will be offered a promotion to senior staff. Voting is based on performance and work habits. Senior staff supervise a minimum of one department on-site and/or perform a minimum of one major administrative job (pre-convention). Senior staff are expected to make major commitments of their time and experience to the operation of Total Confusion as well as financial commitments. There are benefits to being a Total Confusion Senior Staff Member: Hotel accommodations to be shared with one other associate or senior staff member; Large workloads; Sleepless nights; Weekend meetings hosted at your home (where we eat all your food); And a whole lot more… So you ask, who in their right mind would do such a job?
